![]() Steven E. Hyman, M.D. Professor of Neurobiology Harvard Medical School Provost, Harvard University Dr. Hyman’s research interest lies at the intersection of molecular neuroscience, molecular biology and psychiatry. He resumed his long association with Harvard after serving as Director of the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) from 1996 to 2001. Government and from patient advocacy groups, and he has lectured widely on genetics, brain and behavior, and the stigma of mental illness.
