Along with all the in-depth news and information you’ll find in various areas of this website, NARSAD publishes an array of print publications that are now available online, too.

  • The NARSAD Research Quarterly (formerly NARSAD Research Newsletter) includes news on research being conducted by NARSAD-supported scientists, profiles of NARSAD scientists and their work, updates on new trends and developments in research, and proceedings from our public symposia on the latest thinking about the causes, diagnosis and treatment of various disorders.

  • Breakthroughs presents groundbreaking research by NARSAD investigators whose work has deepened our understanding of neuropsychiatric illnesses, leading the way to new and better treatments, and making the prevention and cure of mental illnesses more possible than ever.

  • Highlights summarizes key studies supported by NARSAD over the past 10 years in such major disease areas as depression, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, PTSD and other anxiety disorders, and childhood mental disorders.

  • News from NARSAD reports on volunteer activities and events taking place around the country to support NARSAD and the need for more research.

  • NARSAD publishes a variety of educational brochures and fact sheets on psychiatric disorders, their symptoms and available treatments. Some are available in Spanish.

  • NARSAD’s annual report provides a recap of the year’s programs, activities and achievements, and it includes the organization’s audited financial statement.

  • Read summaries of NARSAD’s regional symposia, featuring presentations by NARSAD Scientific Council members and grant recipients on some of the latest developments in research.

To request these publications by mail, please call NARSAD at 800-829-8289 or 516-829-0091, or e-mail info@narsad.org.
