» Available Grants
• Young Investigator Award:
This award supports scientists at the advanced post-doctoral or assistant professor (or equivalent) level. Awards are up to $30,000/year, for one or two years (maximum of $60,000).

How to Apply: The deadline for the 2008 Young Investigator Award has passed. Electronic applications for the 2009 Young Investigator Award will be accepted in June, 2008, with a July 25, 2008 deadline.

• Independent Investigator Award:
This award supports scientists at the associate professor (or equivalent) level. Awards are up to $50,000/year, for two years (maximum of $100,000).

How to Apply: The deadline for the 2008 Independent Investigator Award has passed. Electronic applications for the 2009 Independent Investigator Award will be accepted in February, 2009, with a March 5, 2009, deadline.

• Distinguished Investigator Award:
This award supports scientists at the full professor (or equivalent) level. Awards are up to $100,000 for one year.

How to Apply: Electronic applications for the 2009 Distinguished Investigator Award are currently being accepted, with a May 15, 2008, deadline.

• Staglin Music Festival NARSAD Schizophrenia Research Award:
This award supports scientists at the level of assistant or associate professor (maximum 45 years old) for three years for a total of $250,000.

How to Apply: The deadline for the 2008 Staglin Award has passed. Applications for the 2009 Staglin Award will be accepted in November, 2008, with a December 4, 2008, deadline.

• Staglin Music Festival NARSAD Rising Star Research Awards:
This award supports scientists at the level of assistant or associate professor (maximum 45 years old) for three years for a total of $250,000.
