Dalila Akkal, Ph.D.
Young Investigator

Dr. Dalila Akkal received her M.S. in Physiology and Pharmacology in 1993 from the University of Sciences, and her Ph.D. in Neurosciences and Pharmacology in 1998 from the University Victor Segalen, France. She has received several awards, including a travel award from the Neural Control of Movement Meeting (NCM) in 1998. Dr. Akkal is currently a research instructor, at the Department of Psychiatry of the Western Psychiatric Institute, University of Pittsburgh.
