NARSAD’s Regional Symposia Educate the Public about Mental Illness Research
Topics range from gene studies to new treatments
Each year, NARSAD holds a variety of scientific symposia to inform the public about the latest developments in mental health research. Topics in 2006 ranged from new depression treatments to brain imaging of psychiatric illnesses.

- Gina Kuperberg, M.D., Ph.D., Tufts University and Massachusetts General Hospital, describes brain imaging studies of people with schizophrenia
