Ridha Joober, M.D., Ph.D. (Young Investigator 2000) of Douglas Hospital Research Centre, will use animal models to identify genes that regulate the response of the dopamine system to environmental stress and challenge with drugs. These animal models will also be used to identify genes that are relevant to therapeutic response to antipsychotics.
