Canan Karatekin, Ph.D. (Young Investigator 2003) of University of Minnesota, will compare adolescents with schizophrenia to adolescents with ADHD who have similar problems include having difficulty paying attention to relevant aspects of their environment and executing complex movements smoothly and efficiently. The results of this comparison can constrain model-building and point to more effective treatment approaches in both disorders.
