Craig S. Neumann, Ph.D. (Young Investigator 2000) of University of North Texas, will examine how time of day influences neurocognitive functioning in schizophrenia. Subjects will receive a cognitive battery of assessments during the morning and afternoon, and the schizophrenic patients will be compared with controls on the time of day at which they perform best on specific cognitive tasks. This work may offer an important avenue to pursue for further research on cognitive functioning in schizophrenia. Program Area: SCHIZOPHRENIA/PSYCHOTIC DISORDERS\Schizophrenia |
