David J. Posey, M.D. (Young Investigator 2003) of Indiana University, is studying whether D-cycloserine, a drug that affects the N-methyl-D-asparate (NMDA) subtype of glutamate receptor, has efficacy for the symptoms of social withdrawal in autism.
