Andrea H. Weinberger, Ph.D. (Young Investigator 2007) of Yale University School of Medicine, will study the ways that smokers with and without depression differ on specific aspects of their smoking behavior such as cravings and nicotine dependence. Dr. Weinberger’s primary purpose is to examine differences in response to smoking-related cues in smokers with and without a history of major depressive disorder (MDD).
