Jeffrey Welge, Ph.D. (Young Investigator 2001) of University of Cincinnati, is combining patient-level data from pharmacologic trials conducted over the past decade in patients with schizophrenia. The effects of treatment duration, baseline symptom severity, and other potential effect moderators will be estimated. The proposed methodology should permit valid conclusions about the effects of potential moderators at the patient level and can be used to test the generalizability of effects in subgroups that are usually too small to examine separately in individual trials. Program Area: SCHIZOPHRENIA/PSYCHOTIC DISORDERS\Schizophrenia |
